Murphy Brown is a UK-based quality-management and education specialist with more than a decade of leadership experience in regulatory and awarding-body operations. He is the founder of the United Kingdom Cleaning Professional Academic Service (UKCPAS), which has successfully certificated over 2,000 learners since its launch in 2011.
Murphy’s career spans multiple sectors including automotive, electronics, local government, and education. He previously served as Qualifications and Quality Manager at the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), where he oversaw the implementation of ISO 9001 and other quality-management frameworks, enhancing the organisation’s process efficiency and compliance standards
At Param Qualifications Limited, Murphy acts as the Responsible Officer, ensuring that the organisation’s quality-assurance systems and governance arrangements remain robust and transparent. He also advises on policy development, centre monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Murphy is highly passionate about process optimisation and capacity building, regularly delivering training to teams on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Method Statements, and quality framework integration across education and professional service organisations.
